A new classic clubhead shape combines super-high MOI (moment of inertia) and easy-launching CG (center of gravity) position while Fujikura Motore 70-gram shaft with High Inertia Tip (H.I.T.)   My wife even loves R9 Fairway Wood and she has only played a few times. The high loft makes it very forgiving and when struck feels solid every time.

  This R9 fairway Wood is a fantastic club. I can quickly adjust the loft and lie to cut corners on those long dog-legs. I have been reaching my favorite course par 5 holes in 2 strokes and hopefully soon be able to score my first eagle.

  It took a few rounds of adjustment initially. After I figured out this TaylorMade R9 Fairway Wood, it has been dependable. The feel is solid yet soft. The sole glides thru the rough. Distance is very good matched with the correct shaft. I keep the setting at 'neutral'. The headcover is a bit tight at the width. Overall a fantastic fairway metal that is very satisfying to play.
